Program Note:
Nightmares are often vague and fleeting - an intense feeling of visceral fear that comes from an indistinct source, evaporating before we can fully know what’s chasing us. These short vignettes portray a series of bad dreams where the antagonizing agent lies just out of reach. The prefix of each nightmare,“in” presents itself, but the remainder of the word hides– a phantom that we can perceive but never see. (Ash Graham)
